Initially tested at Gatwick before a rapid rollout in Portugal and at Belfast, Lyon and Belgrade, and about to go into service in Japan, innovative security check technologies are making the passenger experience easier. AI is now used to manage security checks; new scanners accept liquids in cabin baggage, travellers no longer need to get their electric devices out, and instant detection equipment has been set up. All of these measures are reducing wait times while guaranteeing optimal security levels.
