A fully customised journey with Mona

After a test phase initiated in 2020, Mona is now available through the Lyon airport mobile app for passengers on flights departing from or arriving at Lyon-Saint Exupéry. The service is completely free of charge, in order to use Mona, passengers set up their own customer account, either by using the app on their smartphone or a terminal at the airport. Mona is a travel assistant combining all of the services available to passengers, such as flight information, directions around the terminal, biometric solutions, parking reservations and fast-track services, to offer a customised experience adapted to everyone, according to their profile and their journey.

Background

At a time when contactless technology and personalisation are becoming the norm, off ering passengers a biometric journey from home to the plane demonstrates both technical prowess and real progress in terms of the customer experience.

Two companies are currently using the biometric journey offered at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport : TAP for flights to Lisbon, and Air Corsica for flights to Ajaccio and Bastia. It is intended that this service expands to other airlines at the airport that have already expressed interest.
